Peggy is an 8 x 50′ international period drama limited series that tells the scandalous, visionary, and deeply troubled life story of Peggy Guggenheim, the woman who revolutionized the world of modern art by saving masterpieces and artists from the madness of the twentieth century.
Set between New York, Paris, and Venice, the series follows the rise of a rebellious woman obsessed with art, love, and freedom, tracing her transformation from a fragile heiress haunted by the trauma of the Titanic disaster into the most influential patron of the arts of the twentieth century.
The Crown meets Ripley and The Great in a sensual, psychological, and provocative story about the price of female freedom.
The project is a co-production between Italy, Belgium, and Spain. It has been awarded in Creative Europe funding for co-development, was selected for Series Lab Hamburg 2025, and is led by Laura Paolucci as Head Writer.
