Agustina Macri was born in Buenos Aires on May 4, 1982. A director and screenwriter, she began her career by making various documentaries. In 2018, her debut feature film, “Soledad,” was released, produced by 39Films and based on the true story recounted in Martin Caparros’ novel “Amore e Anarchia.” The film was presented at the Rome Film Festival, competed at the Warsaw Film Festival, and won Best Film at the “Barcelona International Film Festival.” It is available on Filmin, Star+, and Mubi.

In 2022, her first TV series, “Limbo,” was released on Disney+ and was presented at CanneSeries 2021 in the official selection. The second season will be released in 2023.
